Our Organization
AIW Printing Pty Ltd operates a state-of-the-art printing facility at 26-30 Parsons Avenue, Springvale, Victoria. We provide printing services to a variety of clients across Australia, and are committed to excellence in all aspects of our operations. This policy and AIW’s Environmental Management System covers the printing and associated operations at our Springvale facility.
Our Environmental Management Commitment
AIW is committed to undertaking its operations in a manner which minimizes the impact on the environment and to strive for continuous improvement.
We will:
- Identify, review and manage our environmental impacts, through the monitoring of our environmental performance and the setting of objectives and targets.
- Continually aim to improve our operations to reduce our consumption of energy and water.
- Identify and implement cleaner production initiatives where possible, with particular focus on reducing emissions of volatile organic compounds and odor to atmosphere and paper wastage at the site.
- Continually monitor and focus on reducing noise emissions at the site, to minimize potential impacts on neighbors.
- Apply leading technology to all our operations, and encourage the adoption of environmental sustainability by our suppliers.
- Comply with applicable legal and other requirements.
- Continually manage and improve our Environmental Management System in accordance with AS/NZS 14001 and communicate this policy and other environmental management commitments to all staff.
- Communicate openly with the community on environmental matters.
Our Employees
Management is responsible for the implementation of this policy, and ensuring that employees are provided with training and support in order to understand and comply with this policy. All employees will support and assist in the implementation of this policy to improve the environmental performance of our company
